Freez-Fiter Plus Pilot Heaters

The Bruest Catalytic Freez-Fiter Fuel Gas Heater heat low to medium volumes of gas. The Freez-Fiter family of heaters uses one or two catalytic heaters to heat a serpentine process gas coil. Freez-Fiter heaters have high pressure regulators to reduce the inlet gas pressure to the fuel gas train, an integral filter to remove contaminants, and temperature controllers to adjust the temperature of the process gas. Bruest Freez-Fiter fuel gas heaters are competitive alternatives to larger fuel gas systems.

The Freez-Fiter family of heaters operates on the same principle as all of Bruest's Catalytic Heaters. An electric source is required to warm the catalytic pad. When the pads reach temperature (generally 15 to 20 minutes) the electric supply can be removed and the gas supply takes over. After the gas is introduced, the catalytic process will supply the necessary heat to continue the process.

Suitable applications of the Freez-Fiter heaters include pilot regulator gas heating, fuel gas heating for small combustion appliances, water bath line heater replacement for low volume applications, and CNG let down stations (see Bruest's LD series for more information).
